Claim: 1035330 Type: Placer Gold Claim Location: Lytton, British Columbia
This single cell placer gold claim sits on the Fraser River with frontage on both the East and West banks providing over a kilometre of waterfront to use for panning.
There is a variety of fractured bedrock, cobble bars, and a few larger boulders throughout the river banks. Higher up there is an obvious remnant of an older stranded channel well above the current high water mark. The West side of the river hosts what was historically known as Spring Bar where mining originally took place around 1861 during the Fraser River gold rush.
Access to this property is via a short but steep hike down from the highway pullout that sits just 50 meters off the East side of the claim.
