Claims: 1067689 & 1070437 Type: Placer Gold Claim Location: Quesnel, British Columbia
This set of claims is comprised of two individual two cell tenures covering 192 acres. The claims are just a few kilometres downstream of the confluence of Mary, Alice, and Norton creeks. The claims include over 1.5 kilometres of creek frontage on both sides featuring several significant hairpin bends and extensive bench area on the west side on the divide between the creek and the Cottonwood River.
Access is just a short drive from Quesnel on well maintained highway and gravel road. An easily accessible spur from recent logging activity provides ready access to the claim and the creek itself.
Numerous gravel bars and inside bends present themselves to be worked by panning or high banking along with severed dry channel remnants. The area can be easily developed for machine mining with ready access along good roads and proximity to Quesnel as a supply centre.
