Claim: 1062016 Type: Placer Gold Claim Location: Lytton, British Columbia
This two cell placer gold claim is located on the eastern banks of the Fraser River near Lytton, BC. The property comprises roughly 102 acres covering a low flat, substantial boulder and cobble banks, and a large bar that dries in low water. The ground is easily accessible via a 10 minute hike or ATV accessible trail.
This claim features water frontage along its entire length providing nearly a full kilometre of river access. The ground is easily traversed with panning and high banking opportunities present on the huge bar and banks, and on the significant large flat that remains mineable year-round. The flat was discovered as part of the Fraser River gold rush when it was known as Siwash Flat and worked by hand around 1860. An old claim post remains in a boulder pile on the present claim.
This is a great claim for the off-season as it can be accessed and worked 10-12 months a year.
